Team Excel sheet contracts are needed for 2023 season
Please send excel sheet list that shows first name and last name of all players on your teams in separate columns to info@montrealsoftball.com. This document is required to be able to enter stats for the teams. No correction to names will be made so please ensure names are entered accurately.

Maximum 5 runs scored for first 5 innings. Innings 6 and 7 are open innings

IMPORTANT REMINDER: ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION AND BBQ
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT REMINDER TO ALL TEAMS PLAYING AT PARKS MARCEL LAURIN AND NOEL SUD. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION ALLOWED AT THESE PARKS AND WE ARE URGING TEAMS TO KEEP THEIR BEVERAGES IN THEIR CARS OR NOT TO BRING ANY WHATSOEVER. SHOULD WE LOSE THE PARKS DUE TO THIS THEN YOU WILL LOSE GAMES PLAYED DURING THE SEASON. THIS INCLUDES BBQs. SHOULD YOU BE CAUGHT BY ONE OF OUR REPRESENTATIVES OR THE LEAGUE PRESIDENT, FINES AND SUSPENSIONS WILL BE GIVEN OUT. IT SEEMS LIKE THERE ARE TEAMS THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND OR ABIDE TO THIS RULE. PLEASE DON'T RUIN THE SEASON FOR THE OTHER TEAMS WANTING TO PLAY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION
ILLEGAL BAT AND UNIFORM RULES
The use of an illegal bat will result in the player being automatically called out and ejected from the game. The bat will be confiscated for the remainder of the season. Following the ejection, if a team has sufficient players to continue playing the game as stipulated by the league rules, then the game will be allowed to continue. The ejected player will also be an automatic out each time his subsequent turn in the batting order is reached unless the team has a substitute. Note, the illegal bat is deemed to be in play as soon as the batter steps into the batters box. Also, all teams must wear the same predominant colored and a different numbered jersey. If pinnies are required due to non matching colored jerseys or same numbered jerseys, then the pinnies must be worn by the WHOLE team. Pinnies can be rented out at a cost of $10 with the scorekeeper receiving the notification and money prior to the start of the game.
